Restoration of the Cooley House began with the roof in July of 2008, and is expected to continue into 2010. Once restored, the home will be opened to the public as a museum. In addition to showcasing the building, the museum will also present exhibitions that highlight, among other things, the history of Ouachita Parish and the innovative people in our past and present.
